What You Will Need

Who’s My Valentine Template
Who’s My Valentine Game Cards
Self-adhesive Laminating Sheets (optional)

Difficulty Level 2 out of 5How to Play

1. Print out the Who’s My Valentine Preschool Game Template. Laminate the page so you can play again next year!

2. Print out the Who’s My Valentine Preschool Game Cards. Cut along the lines and trim so that the cards are the same size. Preschoolers will have an easier time handling the game cards if you laminate them before playing. No special equipment is required if you use self-adhesive laminating sheets.

3. Place the Who’s My Valentine Preschool Game Cards face down in front of the preschoolers.

4. Have a preschooler draw the top card. Can the preschooler figure out who the card matches? For example, if the preschooler draws the card with a picture of blue earmuffs, the card would match John since he is wearing blue earmuffs in the template.

5. Let each preschooler have a chance to guess. For added fun, try making your own cards for the game. You could draw blonde hair, red hair, brown hair, etc. Or make a card showing a hair bow or piece of clothing.

Make Who’s My Valentine Preschool Game More Challenging

Make this Seasonal Preschool Game more challenging by cutting pictures of people out of a magazine. Choose people who match the existing game cards, or make new cards to match. For example, choose a picture of someone wearing earmuffs, a blue or yellow scarf, or a shirt with stars.
