Happy Holidays License Plate Preschool Game
By Charlene HaukomThe holiday season is full of traveling – and traveling with preschoolers can be challenging. Play the Happy Holidays License Plate Game to keep your preschoolers entertained throughout your holiday road trips.
What You Will Need
PencilPaper
Hard surface to write on
How to Play
1. Write “Happy Holidays” on the paper. Make the letters somewhat large – your preschooler will be writing the same letters underneath. Be sure to leave enough space. To make things easier, you can use something like a travel size Magna Doodle and skip the pencil and paper.2. After buckling your preschooler in safely, arm him/her with the “Happy Holidays” paper and pencil. Make sure you put the paper on top of the hard writing surface. Consider using a large sticker book as your writing surface – it’ll give your preschooler something to do after the game.
3. As you’re driving, your preschooler must search the license plates of other cars to find the letters in “Happy Holidays.” When s/he finds a letter, s/he writes it under the corresponding letters on the paper.
4. If more than one preschooler is playing, the first one to find all the letters wins the game.
