3. Cut out the Nouns, Verbs, and Adjectives on page 2 of the template.
4. Attach the words and story phrases to the strip magnet and cut accordingly.

Make Wacky Story Preschool Party Game More Educational
Turn this preschool party game into an Educational Preschool Game! As you go through the story, teach preschoolers about nouns, adjectives, and verbs. You can also teach them about tenses. “Mary Had a Little Lamb” contains a present tense verb, and “Hey, Diddle, Diddle” contains a past tense verb. Explain that when an action happens in the past, we often add an “ed” to the end of the word. Teach preschoolers the difference between singular and plural nouns, and those funny nouns like ice cream that can be both!Variations of the Wacky Story Preschool Party Game
If you need a game in a pinch, you can play this preschool game without the magnetic board, magnets, and bags. Just print out the Wacky Story Template and cut out the words on page 2. Flip the words over so players can’t read them and assemble them under the headers Noun, Adjective and Verb. Have the preschoolers draw the words as usual, then just place them on the story template. When you’re done, brush the words off and start again!Like this article? Get more like it in your inbox. Subscribe today to our free weekly newsletter.
