Sock Match Preschool Game
By Charlene HaukomEver wonder what to do with those cute little socks your preschooler outgrew? Use them in the Sock Match Preschool Game! All you need are a few pairs of socks and a bag to put them in. Or, play Sock Match as a Preschool Party Game and use new pairs of wild and crazy socks that the preschoolers get to keep.
What You Will Need
Several Pairs of SocksBag or Box
How to Play
1. Put several pairs of socks in a bag or box. The socks should be separated from their mates. You’ll need at least one pair of socks per preschooler playing, although the more the better.2. Have the preschoolers sit in a circle.
3. Give one preschooler the bag of socks. If you’re playing a Preschool Party Game, then start with the guest of honor.
4. Without looking in, the preschooler reaches into the bag and pulls out one sock. Now he/she passes the bag to the right.
5. Each preschooler pulls out one sock before passing the bag along.
6. The first preschooler to make a match wins the game! If playing in a party setting, reward him/her with a cool party favor.
7. If you run out of socks before a match is made, have everyone put the socks back into the bag and start all over.
