Rainbows are quite popular among the preschool crowd. Take advantage of their interest in rainbows to teach preschool colors! Rainbow Bingo Preschool Game uses the name Roy G. Biv to teach preschool reading, too! Have your preschoolers memorize the name, then associate the letters with the colors of the rainbow.

What You Will Need Difficulty Level 2 out of 5

Rainbow Bingo Game Board, 1 per Preschooler
Rainbow Bingo Game Cards
1 Small Bag
Dried Beans
1 Bowl
Self-adhesive Laminating Sheets (optional)

How to Play

1. Print the Rainbow Bingo Game Board, one board per preschooler. Laminate the boards for longer use.

2. Print the Rainbow Bingo Game Cards. You’ll need to print twice as many card pages as you have preschoolers. For example, if three preschoolers are playing, you’ll need to print 6 pages of cards.

3. Cut out the cards and laminate them for easier use. You can play without laminating them, but the preschoolers will have an easier time holding them if they’re laminated.

4. Put the bingo cards into the bag.

5. Pour dried beans into a bowl. These will be your Rainbow Bingo markers, so make sure there are enough for all the preschoolers playing. If you have several small bowls, you can give preschoolers their own bowl of beans.

6. Have a preschooler pull a Rainbow Bingo card from the bag.

7. All preschoolers put a dried bean on the matching color on their game boards.

8. Repeat Steps 6-7, letting the preschoolers take turns pulling the cards from the bag. The first preschooler to cover a full rainbow wins the game.
